An Eden between the lake and the sky! It is an enchanted village where the Alps dive into the blue Lake Garda and the alpine atmosphere merges with the Mediterranean. A village where the charm of pristine nature feeds the spirit and life flows peacefully and simply, following the rhythm of the seasons. A village where holidays are magical and unforgettable! The Municipality consists of eighteen small villages nestled on the hills of incomparable scenic beauty that dominates the entire Lake Garda. One, Campione, is right on the lake, the other ones, Ariàs, Bassanega, Cadignano, Castone, Mezzema, Musio, Pregasio, Priezzo, Secastello, Sermerio, Sompriezzo, Ustecchio, Vesio, Villa, Voiandes, Voltino and Pieve, are scattered throughout the beautiful plateau. The Municipality, with around 72 square kilometres of land, is located in the heart of the Alto Garda Bresciano Park. Here, the highest mountains of the Park blend in with the blue of Lake Garda, offering up settings which cannot be equalled, a true paradise! Pieve, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, protrudes from the rock overlooking Lake Garda. The Strada de la Forra (The Street of the Gorge) is amazing. It is carved into the rock at some points and at others it juts out from the cliffs, leaving you in awe. At the opening, in 1913, a correspondent for the Frankfurter Zeitung defined it as the most beautiful street in the world. Travelling on it, in a few minutes you go from the animated Garda shore to the tranquillity of the plateau, from the terraces overlooking the lake nature shows all its glory to mankind. From the Terrazza del brivido, suspended 350 metres above the lake, the view is breath-taking. The natural environment is certainly the defining aspect; landscapes and views, divided between the mountains and the lake, are of rare beauty. Just head to Val di Bondo (Bondo Valley), towards Passo Nota and Passo Tremalzo, to immerse yourself in wild and unpolluted nature. However, also Val Brasa, once animated by the forges and the mill, and Val Tignalga with the hermitage of San Michele and the picturesque waterfall of the Lavino River, are areas to explore with with ease and curiosity. In Bondo, even now, a lake is formed at regular intervals; beyond Passo Nota, towards the Valle di Ledro, there are places of the Great War, with roads, trails, caves, trenches, posts and ruins of the barracks. Small shelters taken care of by Alpine Group of Vesio and Pieve offer opportunities for rest and refreshment. An original combination of opportunities and interests that makes holidays in Tremosine unique and unforgettable. There are many sports for you to take part in thanks to the presence of the lake and mountains, from windsurfing to sailing, from hiking to mountain biking and horse riding. Here you will find peace and tranquillity, contact with nature, practicing sports outdoors or walking peacefully along multiple routes, rich in history. You will discover ancient, original and interesting traditions.Discover the delights of a simple fine dining. Numerous local restaurants and tourist farms have made typical and traditional production their forte. Also at the table, we see the blending of flavours of the Mediterranean and the Alps: the fish from the lake to the wild game meat from the mountains, the famous extra virgin olive oil from Lake Garda to the precious black truffles, from wines to cheeses. We look forward to having you as guests, with the friendliness of our people and the professionalism of our tour operators: you will be welcomed not just as visitors but as good friends.
