Getting around Lake Garda

Once you have arrived, it is time to experience the lake. Take the bus to relax with the landscape of the Strada Gardesana. Take your bicycle across the lake on a motor vessel to discover the area on two wheels. Rent a car at the airport and drive to the mountains of Val Vestino to taste Tombea cheese.

Those who prefer to leave their cars in the garage and travel by public transport can use the Arriva or APAM bus service. The routes extend to major urban centres such as Verona and Brescia and cover all the villages from Sirmione to Limone sul Garda.

For those who want to see the lake from a different perspective, why not visit its resorts via the Navigazione Laghi Navigarda boat service? Depending on the service, you can also take your bicycle or car on board. This is the perfect way to travel to admire the beautiful villas and historic hotels that dot Lake Garda’s coastline.

If you choose the train or plane to reach Lake Garda, hire a car to be free to explore. The roads that unfurl through olive groves and vineyards in Valtenesi and the Forra road that carves its way through the mountainside up to the Tremosine plateau are the jewels in the crown of Lake Garda's driving experience.
